EUGENE, OR - On Sunday, June 13th, local foster adoption non-profit A Family for Every Child will be hosting an online country and Americana concert in order to help raise money and awareness for the local foster youth. This is the 5th year of A Family for Every Child’s Heart of Country event, and includes various elements to expand the event beyond last year's campaign.
Performing the event will be local artists Rudolf Korv, Pitchwood, Outlaw Shine, and The Real Gone Trio. Andy Goldfinger of Flying Eye Radio will be producing the livestream.
Included with the concerts is a raffle, which is happening online and can be found on A Family for Every Child’s website. Supporters can win one of nine different prizes, including a $500 gift certificate to Jerry’s Home Improvement and a full-constructed children's playhouse. Entries start at $5, and all proceeds will go towards supporting Lane County’s local foster youth. A Family for Every Child hopes to raise $3000 from the raffle. Entries can be found at https://go.rallyup.com/hocraffle2021/Campaign.
In addition, various fundraisers are happening during the weekend of the event, including a 50% proceeds fundraiser at Fast Track Car Wash from June 11th - 13th, and a $1 per beer fundraiser at ColdFire Brewing on June 13th.
